Meeting at Norwich Bus Station (Stand L) in time for the 85 bus to Surlingham at 10.10am. From Thetford you have 2 choices of travel.

1. Travel by train to Norwich Station and get a bus from the bus stop in Thorpe Road to the Bus Station. (25,26,8 etc). The cost of a return from Thetford to Norwich is £8.70 with a Senior Railcard and £13.10 without.
2. Drive to Thickthorn Park and Ride, postcode NR9 3AU, what3words location///vibrate,bravo,marker. It is a £2 concession Fare with a bus pass.

The walk is 7.5 miles, a lot of it is by the River Yare. After 5 miles we reach Whittington Broad and shortly after the Flint Barn Cafe, where we can stop for lunch (no bookings taken). The walk finishes at Norwich Railway Station.
