Anne Fabian: Joint Chair - Anne moved to Thetford with Julian from Chigwell in Essex in 1983. She worked for social services, caring for people in their own homes for thirty years before taking early retirement in 2013. Anne joined Thetford u3a the year after it was formed.

Julian Fabian: Joint Chair - Julian moved to Thetford with Anne from Chigwell in Essex in 1983. He worked as a parts specialist for over 35 years and retired in 2016. Julian is a member of the Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis and Short Tennis Thetford u3a active groups.

Dee Skinner: Vice Chair & Newsletter - Dee moved to Thetford in 2019 with her husband Paul. She grew up in Essex before moving to Plymouth, Devon, and then to Roscoe, Illinois before retiring to Thetford. Dee started work as a teacher and finished it in airport administration. She joined the Thetford u3a soon after moving to Thetford and has enjoyed being a member of several different groups and now leads the 5-10 mile walking group.

Lorraine Thompson: Secretary - At present Lorraine is Chair of Thetford Flower Club and she is also a member on several other committees. She is a teacher/demonstrator of flower arranging and floristry. Among her interests are gardening, history, crafts and wine tasting. In the past Lorraine owned her own florist shop and she has also been part of a DIY store management team.

Patricia O’Brien: Welfare & Joint Membership Secretary - Patricia has lived in Norfolk since 1973 and in Thetford for 43 years. She worked in Thetford and West Suffolk area in a healthcare professional role until her retirement. Patricia has been a member of Thetford u3a from the beginning and is a member of the Indoor Bowls group.

Beverley Harris:  Attending her first monthly talk in November 2018 as a new member, having just moved here from the South East and a lifetime commuting to, and working in, central London, Beverley was persuaded to join the Trustees of Thetford U3A as Secretary. She remains a Trustee, so she can continue to support TU3A, and enjoys badminton and snooker, and hopes that after eight years, she isn’t regarded as an ‘incomer’ so much now!
