Meeting outside Cambridge Station (or inside if very cold). Train from Thetford at 9:06 and 9:13 from Brandon get in at 9:49am. Walk is along roads, cycle/footpaths and along the River Cam. Stopping in Cambridge for lunch after about 5 miles. The walk can be shortened back from Cambridge to the Station or alternatively a bus can be taken back. Distance: 7.75 miles. All surfaces are tarmac or similar so walking boot should not be needed.
