U3A Book Group - next meeting Wednesday 2 September 2026 2.30 to 3.30

We are a friendly group of readers, meeting in the Thomas Paine room, upstairs at Thetford Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 2.30. Access is by stairs or by lift. We pay £2 per person which covers the hire of the room and reservation of books, There is usually a choice of two books and members are welcome to take one or both of them at the meeting.

This month we are reading A Man Called One by Fredrik Backman and How Much of These Hills is Gold by C Pam Zhang.

We look forward to discussing the books and talking about other subjects of interest to the group.

We are at full membership capacity, so unfortunately we are closed to new members at the moment but please add your name to the waiting list if you are happy to do this. Alternatively you can email me on yneil@btinternet.com and I'll let you know when we have a space.
