We are an informal group for sharing hints and tips on all aspects of photography. Members of the group are all amateur photographers, and we are all at differing levels of expertise, some beginners and others with lots of experience – but all learning from each other. You don’t need an expensive DSLR camera to enjoy photography – today’s point-and-shoot cameras, tablets and phones take equally amazing images.
We share and enjoy each other’s photographs We are an extremely friendly and sociable group who meet to learn and practice our photography but also to have a really enjoyable time!

Four times a year the group meet in the back hall at The Church On The Way, Churchill Road, IP24 2JZ, from 10am-12pm to review the pictures we have posted on the groups Facebook page (Thetford U3A Photography) and discuss future trips, in the other months we will go on field trips.
In 2026 we will meet at the church on March 27th, June 26th, September 25th and on December 18th
